Welcome to St. Paul's Parish

What makes any Parish is not the structures,
but the people who use them, and the life,
gifts, Spirit and place which they share.

Welcome to St. Paul's Parish

Many parishes now find it very useful to provide a concise summary of parish and community information. This website attempts to do this for St. Paul’s Parish. We hope you will find it a useful reference for information, contacts and telephone numbers. We hope you will be impressed and perhaps surprised at the range of services and activities to be found here.

As a parish we are anxious not just to publicise our own services, but also to highlight the work being done by so many associations that are not Church related. If there is a common thread it is the area we share and the community we serve. Hopefully, all of us in some way try to enhance the quality of life in our area. It is hard to be comprehensive with information like this. If there are glaring omissions we apologise and ask to be corrected for future updates. Likewise, the information here is subject to continuous change, so please make allowance for this.

St. Paul's Parish Mission Statement

"St. Paul's Parish seeks to be a christian community
in which everyone is welcomed and valued as a child of God
and where the Gospel of Jesus is lived and celebrated
as a lifegiving message of
Justice, Peace and Reconciliation."

A Parish can be described
As a local church,
a community of people in a particular locality,
who find Jesus to be a light and inspiration.
What makes any parish is not the structures,
but the people who use them, and the life,
gifts, Spirit and place which they share.

St. Paul’s Parish was founded on the 17th February, 1972.
The church was solemnly blessed and dedicated by Bishop Michael Russell on the 7th of May, 1972.
